Leyla Kampeter

Leyla Kampeter studies painting with Prof. Friederike Feldmann at the weißensee school of art and design berlin. Their installation practice explores themes such as kitsch, childhood, and the queer cosmos, which manifest in the form of paintings, sculptures, photographs, and video formats. Currently, they work with materials such as clay, plastic, textiles and digital printing.

During the Opening Days of the KinderKunstLabor (June 28–30, 2024), Leyla Kampeter held the research book workshop together with Aglaia Gronas, where children had the opportunity to design and bind their own books in the library.
