Toshis Gabe おくリもの

Toshi’s Gift おくリもの is an interactive, three-dimensional textile landscape made of crocheted hexagons, open pockets, and hanging pendulums. Here you can imagine and explore colors and shapes in a stimulating play space. Progress upwards moving from pocket to pocket until you reach a large area where you can run, slide, jump, and rest. The rhythmic movement recalls the feeling of floating in the sea, stimulating deeper parts of the brain and challenging vision, feeling, movement, and balance. Artist Toshiko Horiuchi MacAdam has developed this large-scale installation especially for the KinderKunstLabor.
