The Spiel-Skulptur (Play-Sculpture) is a climbing frame with a house that resembles a cardboard box. The inside is painted with green washable chalkboard paint. The words “living room” and “playroom” are written on the outside in different languages.

Regina Maria Möller’s work was originally conceived in 2001 for Großmugl kindergarten. As of June 2024, it is part of the KinderKunstLabor sculpture park. The sculpture, developed together with KOERNOE, is based on children’s drawings on the topic “Where to play outdoors.” Möller used their ideas as the basis for the climbing frame with a house. The house is an autonomous space for the children, a hide-away, a room outside the adults’ sphere of influence. In two workshops with children from the Children’s Advisory Board and the art ideas workshop, the sculpture has been further developed and adapted for its new setting in Altoonapark.
