Every Saturday and Sunday, as part of the dream.lab exhibition, dream journeys enable you to experience and actively try out a wide range of artistic approaches that engage all of your senses. The dream journeys include a tour of the current exhibition and an artistic workshop. During the exhibition period, you can experience the theme of dreams with all of your senses in the workshop. Every month we will focus on one sensory perception each weekend. You can find out which one it is and exactly what awaits you the workshop here every Monday.

This time:
Tissue paper, graphite pencils and all kinds of objects of different sizes, shapes, origins and common uses - that's all you need for the artistic technique of frottage. Perhaps you have exciting objects in your pocket, or maybe you can find some in our house? Frottage is an art technique in which textures are created by rubbing a pencil over a textured surface. A sheet of paper is placed over the surface and rubbed to capture the details of the texture. If the objects are arranged into a motif before frottage, a completely new image or creature is created.
