Kurator:innen- und Künstler:innenrundgang

The curator and artist tour format is aimed at younger and older adults who are interested in contemporary visual art. The KinderKunstLabor engages in dialogue with curators, participating artists, and experts from history, science, and research. Each moderated tour focuses on an in-depth thematic aspect of the exhibition. Paper, which stands for lightness but also exclusion, Rock, which symbolizes permanence and protection, and Scissors, which both separate and connect—themes relating to materials and tools of art are the focus of the tours. Special attention is given to the interconnections between artists’ biographies, history (including local and regional contexts), and artistic techniques and materials.

The tour is moderated by Nicole Fuchs-Sommer (archaeologist, St. Pölten City Museum) and Evi Leutgeb (Head of Art Education, KinderKunstLabor).
